The oriented development of the Institute of Development & Application for Sound Materials (DASM) is focusing on design consulting, research, test – measurement – assessment, adjustment, production and creation of acoustic solutions. TESTS
DASM performed the following tests:
- Measurement of the void ratio of the material (phi)
- Measurement of material resistance (sigma).
- Measurement of sound absorption coefficient (alpha).
- Measurement of sound transmission loss (TL).
- Measurement of the material sheet's reflection coefficient (R).
- Measurement of the acoustic impedance of the material (Z).
RESEARCH
DASM researches and develops new sound absorbing materials.
Develop sound absorbing materials from, environmentally friendly and sustainable materials such as coconut fiber, wood fiber, bamboo, ect.
Develop multi-layer sound absorbing materials.
Develop sound-absorbing materials at low frequencies.
